Splenic mass removal

Brought our dog Bruiser here after a recommendation from our local vet. Our dog had a mass discovered that compromised his spleen. It was quite scary but doctor Lombardi was honest, direct and helped guide us through the process of what would happen next for our Bruiser. He ended up needing a surgery to remove the mass and have his spleen taken out as well. Ultimately he beat the odds and is cancer free so the removal was curative. I would recommend anyone to come here with their pet because everyone was so kind and informative and really just helped save our dog. Thank you all so much! And for anyone reading this: If your dog hasn’t eaten in a day or two and seems a little tired, and maybe is a bigger dog, take them in for a check up. Please. We were lucky this mass was caught early. Better safe than sorry.

Emergency back surgery

Dr. Lombardi is wonderful and an amazing surgeon and doctor. Her and her staff were just wonderful. No words can express how grateful me and my family are. Our dog needed emergency back surgery and she came to our need immediately. She did amazing work and saved our fur baby. He is almost fully recovered in such a short time, which is amazing. We are so grateful for her and her staff. We would recommend anybody to come here. Thank you again Dr. Lombardi and staff.

Emergency diaphragmatic hernia surgery

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Veterinary Center for Operational Wellness. Dr. Lombardi and her entire staff were incredibly kind, supportive, and compassionate during one of the most stressful emergencies I’ve ever experienced with my dog.

My dog needed emergency diaphragmatic hernia surgery, and Dr. Lombardi took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer all of my questions in detail. She made me feel completely comfortable and confident leaving my baby in her care.

The level of professionalism, empathy, and dedication from everyone at the practice was truly amazing. I am beyond grateful for the care they provided and can’t thank them enough for helping my girl through such a scary situation. Highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a veterinary office that genuinely cares.

Ear canal surgery for a rescue dog

This may be a long review, but it is because our experience with Dr Lombardi has been life changing for our Stella. Stella is a rescue, and her age can only be approximated. We believe she is at least 8 years old. She has had chronic ear infections due to scar tissue in her ears, and as she has aged they have happened more frequently. Our regular vet recommended surgery to open her ear canals, allowing air to circulate, to reduce the risk of infection. It was a difficult decision, but we wanted to improve Stella’s quality of life.

Dr. Lombardi and her staff were wonderful from the moment we walked in. They were kind, welcoming and friendly to me, but more importantly to my Stella. At our consultation, Dr Lombardi took the time to describe the surgery, and drew a diagram as she explained the procedure. I left with a full understanding of what the surgery would be like, and what we could reasonably expect to be the outcome.

The day of the surgery I felt completely comfortable with our decision to proceed with the surgery. The staff was fantastic in communicating with me throughout the day, advising me of Stella’s progress. Dr Lombardi personally called to update me after the surgery was complete, which I appreciated. Stella’s discharge folder was complete with detailed information about her medication and aftercare.

Since the surgery, Stella has healed well. She is definitely hearing better, and her behavior lets us know she’s not in pain anymore. She’s more “chatty” as hounds can be, and she’s more playful as well.

We are so grateful to Dr Lombardi and her staff for the amazing care our Stella received. The kindness, the compassion, it’s truly exceptional. If your fur-baby needs surgery, this is where you need to be; the level of care is remarkable.

Joint injections for arthritis

I have a large dog with bad arthritis in all 4 legs. Dr Lombardi did joint injections that help with his pain management & mobility. I can’t say enough about Dr Lombardi & staff. They are caring, knowledgeable, patient & trustworthy with your pet. My fur baby will definitely be back when the injections are needed again. I highly suggest meeting with Dr Lombardi & staff for your fur babies needs.

IVDD care for a French bulldog

Dr Lombardi was extremely thorough with my French bulldog. She helped with his IVDD flare ups and provided exceptional care. Her staff is extremely personable and show how much they care for animals. Highly recommend this practice!

General surgical care

Exceptional veterinary care from start to finish. The team was knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. You can tell they truly care about both their patients and the people attached to them.
